Something similar happened when my nephew went missing in California a dozen years ago. It was all over the news, a thousand people joined a F*book account, and comments in newspapers said you couldn't even admire his clothing because he would give you anything he had that he thought you liked. It was a month before the police found the crime scene, and years before his body was discovered.
This boy was hardly a star as he was just running for his first office--but he would have reached out to the local news, and they would have loved him. 95% of reporters these days are Democrats, so they would have made a big deal over that. I pray this story has a better outcome than my nephew.
"They" are trying to set the stage for a civil war. Most news articles run on triggering an emotional response from their audience. This kid is young, good looking and the article spoke of him as being a great future asset to the Democratic party. So, while I think it's terrible that the poor guy is missing and something has happened to him, it doesn't matter what his political background is. What matters is a young man is missing under suspicious circumstances. But, the writer of this article is setting the stage, IMO, that it's BECAUSE he's a up and coming democrat that he went missing. This can possibly lead to the narrative that democrats need to be on guard because it implies that democrats are being targeted. When the reality is, we are all being targeted. "They" want us all to be scared of each other, suspicious of each other and fighting each other. I stopped reading the newspapers years ago because its no longer journalism. It's full of CRAP like this. This poor kid is probably a very nice guy and they are using his tragedy to trigger the publics emotional response to not be about what happened to him, but more about him being a target because he's a democrat. So sad.

Extremely questionable, I agree Jovan!
Why even mention his political stance. Especially as headline news, in a missing person report.
👀
Did he go swimming with Obama? Just a thought.
