Liberals I can understand their tactics, but Republicans….
This election integrity work is nuts. My mind could not comprehend just how deep the doo-doo really was in the swamp (until I jumped in headfirst). Liberals I get - they just think all of us conservatives are hicks and idiots and not as “evolved in our thining as them”. They stick together on message and drive hard to focus on the mission at hand.
Republicans, they are the ones I do not understand!
Republicans say - they want election integrity everywhere they go now, but behind closed doors, it is a different matter. For example, most (99%) legislators do not value transparency. Additionally, Republicans in many ways are MORE image-conscious than Dems. Liberals want to be seen as caring, sharing, and enlightened. Republicans want to be seen as men and women of faith, above reproach and squeaky clean and free from blemish.
A Democrat will work with anyone willing to commit to their mission, stay focused and get them across the goal line with their plans for the “world”. Republicans do not consider the goal line or the mission long-term and only care about “If I am seen around this person will it make me look better?” “Will people see me as a good person and special IF I work with this or that person?”
THE POINT? One group is mission-focused (and constantly kicks our conservative asses) and the other self-image-focused will refuse to work with the best people for the job, goal, mission (and in fact the country) if they see them as something which will harm their public image.
It is really messed up. What even puzzles me more is politicians out touting they stand for and want integrity election, but behind closed doors, they bad-mouth those who really do the work (election integrity) and then work with people “more-godly and presentable” who have NO IDEA what they are doing!
It really is a popularity contest, NOT a team built with the best talent to get the ball against the goal line.
Sad state of affairs, but it happens every single day.
Want to get a legislator to NOT work with the best experts? Show them fake media (which comes from fake media or blogs, yet they believe what they read) about said experts and they will gobble it up like a free Russian Vodka and Caviar Buffet in DC.

I truly believe our only way out of this morass is to blindside every single career politician and replace them all with the grass roots candidates and take back our nation. First anyone electable, they must agree to go and be good stewards for our nation then they absolutely must return home after their terms and others are then elected to replace them. It does not need $1000 banquet dinners, or plated dinners. What we need to know about our candidates for office, is not their political stripe, but their love of their community, and that they are good and faithful servants answering only to their constituents. This is one of the reasons I like Tactical Civics because it does require participation, civics 101, but we have to upend and turn the tables on those in office now. We have every bit of truth being revealed all the way around. Personally when my mind gets going, I do see it coming to a head but it will only end when the populace gets so fed up it is time for the tar and feathering. Learned in school it was administered to the wayward and corrupt people, in their birthday suit, then the proverbial ride out of town on a rail. A painful infliction of humility that is quite difficult to remove, that is where the pain arises. Can anyone imagine the hair removal strips, without the strips? Yup my mind does go there. So I also thank you for reminding us in the earlier broadcast I got to see today, that we do have to rein it in and carry forward, not as attack dogs, but that we join united in defeating our foes, using our brains and our wits. But yes we also must persevere and be relentless.
I think good (OLD) Biden needs to start thinking for the people and not the JACK ASS side of things and start by (stop pushing Puttin's screw you button) before it's too late. Trump is a great Biz. man and the politicians ( Both Sides) did not like that he did things his way, which was doing good things and Other Great Leaders liked him too, so they needed him gone. And now the politicians are trying so hard to crush him like little kids would. KIDS TEACH YOUR POLITISHAL PARENTS BETTER. Your future hell has already started. DO NOT LET IT KEEP GOING
