What Will You Do and How Will You RESPOND?
Five years ago I wrote an article on my Linked in titled “LA is BURNING and How The Rodney King Riots Introduced Me To Insanity and $50 Million Dollars in 30 Weeks Thanks To Trust and Reputation.”
That article told the story of how I was trapped in LA and there was NO FOOD and all of Los Angeles society went to hell in an instant! The story was also conveyed in my book titled “Commander's How to Cut Off Your Arm and Eat Your Dog: Plus, Other Recipes for Survival”
The left always uses this book title against me. LOL, I guess they think it is some slight, but the name and image of the book was on purpose. This is my book on Survival which I originally published in 2008 and this version is the updated version.
Currently my published titles are in excess of 300 individual books, but I wrote the above book because I say just how fast society can fall apart in a crisis.
Experiencing that AND seeing what is happening to our Great Republic I realized we have to get BACK TO THE BASICS! And fast!
We have lost our connection to our grandparents and great-grand parents and all those ancestors who came before us. All of them were total bad asses! Think about it.
Most everyone was homeschooled BY DEFAULT back then!
For your information: In 1922 an attempt was made by the voters of Oregon to enact the Oregon Compulsory Education Act, which would require all children between the ages of 8 and 16 to attend public schools, only leaving exceptions for mentally or physically unfit children, exceeding a certain living distance from a state school, or having written consent from a county superintendent to receive private instruction.[28] The law was passed by popular vote but was later ruled unconstitutional by the United States Supreme Court in Pierce v. Society of Sisters, determining that "a child is not a mere creature of the state." This case settled the dispute about whether or not private schools had the right to do business and educate within the United States.
After World War II some progressives, such as The Nation editor Paul Blanshard, became concerned with the power of the Catholic Church. They did not want it to receive public funds via its schools.[5] Some scholars[who?] have argued that the 1947 Supreme Court decision Everson v. Board of Education, which affirmed that the legal doctrine of separation of church and state also applied at the state and local government levels, was motivated by anti-Catholic feelings. That opinion was authored by Justice Hugo L. Black, who was an admirer of Blanshard.[10]
Some progressives compared parochial education to racial segregation. "You cannot practice democratic living in segregated schools," said one Columbia professor, referring to Catholic schools.[11] At a debate at Harvard Law School, a Methodist bishop called parochial schools un-American.[12] In 1952, prominent educators openly attacked "nonpublic schools" at a convention of public school superintendents in Boston. They were following the lead of their own president and of Harvard’s president, James B. Conant.[13]

Clarence Saunders opened the first Piggly Wiggly on Sept. 11, 1916 in Memphis, Tenn.
Saunders redesigned food shopping, methodically arranging things in order to appeal to how customers shopped—for example, putting candy and other impulse items at the checkout. In addition to launching the self-service model, Piggly Wiggly introduced shopping baskets, price-marked items, employees in uniform and the supermarket franchise model.
Other supermarkets popped up as well, with King Kullen opening in 1930 in Queens, New York, and Safeway and Kroeger grocers adapting to the new normal. Some contention still surrounds whether Kullen or Saunders founded the first supermarket, but the opening dates suggest Piggly Wiggly was, in fact, the original.
Supermarket success continued to prove fruitful during World War II when thousands of small grocery stores had to close as their employees went off to war. For supermarkets, losing one or two people didn’t put the chains out of business. After the war, the popularity of refrigerators and automobiles for nearly every household kept feeding the model, so much so that free parking became a necessity at every supermarket.
Throughout the ‘50s, the supermarket proved itself an American phenomenon, Stanton says. It was such a marvel that in 1957, during a visit with President Eisenhower, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip visited a Maryland grocery store for 15 minutes to see what it was all about.
These two changes changed everything for our country! We lost our ability to continue to grow our own food and stay true to our foundation skills needed to take care of ourselves WITHOUT the Government!

Why write stuff like this? We cannot fail. Too many in the movement and failure is not an option.
Hard times call for tough decisions. I need to research the portable solar generators, specifically for making sure my fridge or freezer can work. I just went through a scenario where my new ge profile fridge (1 year old) went wonky with constant defrosting and finally stopped working. Dealing with ge was tough, even though they had a factory service place here, they were totally incompetent. I called my Vendor and told them to expect my fridge to show up on the sidewalk in front of their store with a huge note on it. They sent their people and took care of it. The compressor had totally failed.
Those were the worst two months of 2023. I had to learn what I could buy that didn't need refrigeration, but it was a tough row to hoe after having great conveniences for most of my life. I am schooling myself for worst case scenario, and pray my rear off that we can turn this ship around before it falls off this flat earth idea everyone is pushing now.
I know the earth is an oblate spheroid, and have to tell all those idiots to look up the definition of Orbital Mechanics, but no matter should all hell break loose and we actually get to the Mutually Assured Destruction phase, I will give my Soul to God and kiss my ass goodbye and take Toad's last wild ride.
